Anne Hathaway, who portrays the most recent Queen of Genovia in the Princess Diaries film trilogy, has stated that she is still interested in participating in the production of a third installment in the series.

Julie Andrews co-starred with Hathaway in the film and played the role of Mia’s maternal grandmother, who also served as the reigning monarch of the kingdom and delivered the news.

If Hathaway is successful in persuading Andrews to join the project, viewers may at long last have the opportunity to go back to the fictional kingdom of Genovia.
