Buhari, Meet Gbajabiamila to address ASUU strike

Major General Muhammadu Buhari (ret.) is currently meeting with House Speaker Femi Gbajabiamila and Deputy Speaker Ahmed Wase at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, which began at 3:00 pm, will focus on the ASUU strike now underway.

On Sunday, a source close to the presidency told our correspondent that the legislators will be presenting their suggestions to Buhari following their talks with strike stakeholders.

According to what Gbajabiamila said at the most recent meeting of the House Leadership with stakeholders, including members of ASUU and representatives of the Federal Government, the report will reflect their interactions on the FG-ASUU face-off and provide recommendations to allow the President to assess the situation from an informed second option.
