Edo political enforcer, Kabaka, gives his life to Christ
Tony Kabaka, a popular enforcer for the Edo government, devoted his life to Christ at the Rock of Ages Church Assembly International in Benin Wednesday. Founder and senior pastor of RACA, Charles Osazuwa, welcomed him into the church. Tony Kabaka showed up to the church with a few purported followers.
Tony discussed the destruction of his home by state officials in a video posted online, during which he prayed for God to change Governor Godwin Obaseki’s heart.
Tony Kabaka said, “Lord, I beg you, touch the governor’s heart and have pity on me.” In light of the unexpectedness of God’s provision of victory, I came here today to get nearer to God. There is a pressing need for me to get nearer to God; if it is wealth I lack, I am powerless; thus, today, I embrace God as my personal king and savior.
The priest in charge of the service said, “I realize this choice represents the beginning of a new chapter in your life. Good for you for giving your life to Jesus.
The BBC’s Africa Eye report described Kabaka as a prominent political enforcer who has engaged in covert actions on behalf of state leaders.
