20 million people have utilized Xbox Cloud Gaming, says Microsoft.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella stated 20 million individuals have used Xbox Cloud Gaming. That’s double the 10 million amount Microsoft revealed before Epic Games and Microsoft teamed to introduce Fortnite to Xbox Cloud Gaming.
This relationship has improved Xbox Cloud Gaming, as it’s the only free game that doesn’t require Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
It’s unclear how other streaming services compare to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Google never released Stadia stats before announcing its demise in 2023. Nvidia doesn’t reveal GeForce Now subscriber figures, and Amazon hasn’t shared Luna data.
Xbox Cloud Gaming requires a $14.99 Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership, but Fortnite could lead to other free-to-play games. Microsoft earns from in-game purchases when consumers stream games on their phones or web browsers. It’s a model Microsoft may expand beyond Fortnite.
Microsoft is adding keyboard and mouse capabilities to Xbox Cloud Gaming and extending your game catalog later this year.
