BREAKING: Wike endorses Sanwo-Olu for second term
Nyesom Wike, governor of Rivers State, has publicly supported his colleague, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos State, in his bid for reelection.
Sanwo-chief Olu’s press secretary, Gboyega Akosile, made the announcement on Tuesday in a brief statement.
The governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, has publicly backed his counterpart in Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for a second term in office. “Later on, I’ll fill you in on the details,” Akosile penned.
The support was given despite the fact that Wike’s party, the People’s Democratic Party, already had a candidate for governor of Lagos in the form of Olajide Adediran, better known by his moniker Jandor.
