WhatsApp restored after an hour of disruption

After an interruption that has yet to be explained, the messaging platform WhatsApp, which is based in the United States and experienced a global outage on October 25, has been restored for users. It was reported that the messaging app abruptly stopped operating for its users throughout the world, and it is being called the most significant outage that the messaging platform has ever experienced.

Several users have independently verified that the service has been restored. Users in India, Asia, and the United Kingdom have reported that they have been able to send and receive some messages and videos. Because of the disruption to WhatsApp’s services in various regions around the world, thousands of users were unable to send or receive messages using the platform owned by Meta.

At approximately 12:35 local standard time (IST), users first reported experiencing difficulties, as reported by Downdetector, a platform that offers real-time information about the status of a variety of websites and services. The hashtag #WhatsAppDown began trending on the microblogging platform Twitter in India within 15 minutes of the application becoming unavailable, and it has now received more than 80,000 tweets.

Additionally, a large number of users turned to Twitter in order to share humorous memes regarding the matter.

According to the outage reporting site, people all across the world started noting an unusually high number of “trouble reports,” and by 1 pm local time, they had logged hundreds of such incidents.
