ASUU: Varsities hold emergency meetings on resumption
Public institutions across the nation had scheduled special senate council meetings in anticipation of exams and resuming following the suspension of the Academic Staff Union of Universities’ strike.
The strike that started on February 14, 2022, has been suspended, according to an announcement made by ASUU on Friday, October 14.
The union said that it paused the strike in response to a court ruling while noting that the government had not yet complied with all of its requests in a statement by its national president, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke.
