Buhari, Kenyatta present at Ministerial Performance Review Retreat
There is now a Ministerial Performance Review Retreat being led by President Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) in the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
Progress made by the government since last year’s retreat, which had the subject “Enhance Security, Fight Corruption, Transform the Economy,” will be evaluated at this year’s gathering.
Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of the Federation, claims that the forum provides a neutral setting in which participants may honestly evaluate their own performance and the results of their efforts.
Attendees include the Federal Executive Council, the Service Chiefs, and other high-ranking government officials.
Uhuru Kenyatta, Kenya’s former president, is also participating in the drill.
President Buhari stated in his opening address that the exercise will ensure an increase in electricity generation to 25,000 MegaWatts in the following six years.
Once again, the President assured the public that his administration would vigorously pursue prosecution of high-profile corruption cases.
