Chief Basil Ejidike, the APC chairman for Anambra State, urged Ndigbo to join the party and support it in the general election of 2023 during a party stakeholders meeting last week in Awka.

Ejidike had no moral reason for asking Ndigbo to join the APC, according to Chief Chinedu Obigwe, National Coordinator of the APGA Media Warriors Forum, who was speaking to journalists in Awka on Monday.

No sensible person should join the APC, Obigwe continued, calling it a drowning party that has failed Nigerians in every way.

He implored the audience to ignore the APC’s call to attend, saying no one in their right mind would leave a party to join a funeral.

“This same Ejidike endorsed Andy Uba’s broad daylight robbery of APC governorship ticket to participate in the November 6, 2021 governorship election in Anambra. That undemocratic action of his made the Supreme Court rule in a suit filed by George Moghalu that Andy Uba was never a candidate in that election because APC did not conduct primary election in Anambra.

“That Supreme Court verdict nailed Andy Uba and Basil Ejidike’s political coffin for stealing APC’s governorship ticket in broad daylight.

Ejidike has no moral right to advise Igbo to join APC . All Promises Cancelled Party (APC)

No sane person would join a party known to fail.

“Another thing I would not fail to emphasize is that APC does not exist in Anambra State because ‘ndi Anambra’ follow APGA faithfully and cannot leave to join a sinking party that failed Nigerians in every way.

“I advise the Igbo to ignore the call to join APC because no one in their right mind would leave a party to join a funeral. Vote APGA in 2023.”
